About Us

Since 1992, John Standring has been the managing director of The Standring Brothers Ltd. We are a family run business, which incorporates our sister company, Range Valley Engineering Ltd., established in 1961 by John's father, Harry Standring.

Range Valley Engineering Limited launched the UK's first fully approved total PVCu window system with Weatherseal in 1978. This enables us to quote for window profiles, general purpose trade extrusions and complex profiles based on our experience.

Our company is based in the North West of England, Greenfield in Saddleworth. Our location has excellent access to major motorways, ensuring plastics extrusion deliveries are completed on time.

Many companies use our plastic extrusion expertise to test their products before going to market. With over 55 years experience we have become specialists in extruding window profiles, tubes and pipes.

From the very beginning we have concentrated on producing high quality goods at competitive prices with short lead time.

We have manufactured extrusion tooling and extruded profiles in PVCu since 1961, therefore we can offer advice on profile design in order to optimise a product or system. We can accommodate your enquires for either long or short production runs and with a maximum capacity of over 800 kgs per hour across our range of extrusion machines. Our range of equipment allows us to quote for a variety of Thermoplastics, Polymers and Polyurethanes.
